The Town of Rossville each month will bill residents for water, sewage, and trash. Water meters are read on the 20th of each month. A utility bill is issued on the 1st and is due on or before the 15th. If payment is not received, a 10% penalty is attached to the bill.
Bills that are over 45 days late are subject to disconnection. The Town will tag your door to notify of a delinquency. If payment is not received by the specified date or special arrangements made by contacting the Town Hall, service will disconnected. There is a $25.00 reconnection fee if service is disconnected due to nonpayment.
Homeowners and renters are required to pay a water deposit of $80.00 and a sewage deposit of $120.00. This deposit will be returned to you in the event you move outside the Town limits and remain in good standing with the Town, otherwise, the deposit will be used towards the balance owed and the remaining is refunded.
